Kyutai Pocket TTS (https://kyutai.org/tts/ — documentation: https://github.com/kyutai-labs/pocket-tts) is an open-source text-to-speech model.

Choice of language (French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese), selection of a voice from a catalogue, text and playback generated in a few seconds.

100 million parameters, developed by Kyutai the same French laboratory as Kyutai STT and Unmute. Installable locally for offline use (with voice cloning possible).

Export in wav format.

Notes: Voices without a language indicated accept French with an English accent. Online, texts limited to 500 characters. Complicated handling of apostrophes after copy/paste, retyping them corrects the problem.
