All the tools published are free or freemium at the time of publication, tested and documented with a description and screenshots.
Articles are dated the day they are published; they may be updated as the tool evolves (a dated “Edit” note in the article) or archived.

The tests and articles on the site are carried out and published by the author; only their translation on the “/en/” pages is automated, with after-the-fact review, and the screenshots come from the tests performed.

The choice of tools follows editorial principles presented here.

Accessibility and simplicity

• Free or freemium tools offering enough credits for medium-term testing, without a restrictive trial period.

• Easy sign-up: no phone number or professional email address required to register — a simple email address dedicated to experimenting is enough.

• Tools available in France at the time of testing, no VPN required.

• No API key needed: every tool featured can be used without requiring an external API.

Ethics and respect

• Values displayed or visible during testing: the tools published respect human dignity in their outputs, with no violent or explicit imagery observed, and no ability to generate fake news or deepfakes.

• No “humanizer” tools that misleadingly claim to “humanize” AI-generated content.

• No “AI content detectors”, which cannot claim to be reliable.

• No advertising, or only discreet, non-intrusive advertising where present.

Transparency and authenticity

• All illustration screenshots remain unedited: no modification or partial cropping — the tools’ own errors stay visible.

• Recurring prompts are used to allow comparison between one tool and another.

• All content is published under a Creative Commons CC BY license, allowing reuse simply by crediting the author (articles, categorization, tool selection, article database).

• The site’s author does not accept commercial partnerships and receives no personal benefit for testing a tool, or once a tool has been tested.
