Voice to Text (https://voicetotext.pro/) is a Chrome extension that transcribes voice to text using Whisper AI, either directly recorded or from an imported audio file.

Opening in a side panel of the browser, with two modes: dictate directly to the microphone, or import a file (MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, FLAC, OGG).

Two output styles are offered: the exact text, word for word, or a “polite” version with corrected punctuation and cleaned hesitations, as desired and modified at any time.

Several formats are available with the possibility of creating your own.

The text remains in the extension’s panel for review and editing. Export then by copying and pasting or txt file.

10 minutes per mic recording, 200 MB per imported file, and 110 languages with auto-detection.

Notes: Audio is processed in the browser and deleted immediately after transcription, with no retention announced.
A web version exists, but was down during testing.

Free, no account to transcribe. Optional account allows you to synchronize the history of transcriptions.
