One day, one generative AI tool

Leo (https://brave.com/leo/) is the Brave browser’s AI assistant integrated into its search engine and available in a side pane in the form of a chatbot that can query the page visited.

Several language models are offered (Mixtral 8x7B, Claude Haiku – 3.7 sonnet in premium version -, Llama 3.1 8B, Qwen 14B and Llama 3.2 11B Vision) with the possibility of adding your own models via an API key.
Qwen 14B, Llama 3.1 8B, and Mixtral 8x7B are hosted on Brave (https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/26727364100493-What-are-the-differences-between-Leo-s-AI-Models) servers.

Pre-defined instructions are offered in the search engine (response developed via the “Elaborate” button) and in the chatbot.

During the tests, about ten interactions per day with the chatbot in free version. Seems unlimited directly in the search engine.
