WorkInProcess (https://workinprocess.app/) is an online image editing studio whose AI models run entirely in the browser, without sending files to a server.

The main tool is the removal of objects with reconstruction: you “paint” the area to be erased and the model reconstructs the scene by inventing what could have been behind it.

Two other AI tools are offered:

• Background removal: Automatically detects and trims the main subject to produce a transparent PNG.
• “Upscaling”: enlarges an image by 2, 3 or 4 times by reconstructing the missing details.

AI models are downloaded once and then cached in the browser.

Five other classic tools are available: compression, resizing with crop and rotation, EXIF and GPS metadata removal, effects and adding text, and color palette extraction.
